WOW what a great month of networking ….  It keep getting better and better!

First a few laughs from an educational Networking Event with Dean Mercado ….where do you wear your nametag and how visible is it?  Ever wonder when you put on your nametag which side it should go on? … and Ladies are we avoiding the obvious placement and putting it on our hip? Are people bending over to look at your name or is the writing so small they are really up close … imagine what that looks like from a distance.  This really is funny ….when you’re out and about take notice and let me know if you’re laughing on the inside!!

The correct placement is on your right; so when you reach out to shake hands, your name is best likely to be seen. Be sure your name is big enough to be seen even from a distance…that means you have confidence. Is your company listed or do you want people to ask “what do you do?” This one is argued back and forth and being that so many of us wear so many hats ….that’s your call. For the $7 have 2 name tags or 3 depending on your networking event.  When your event is over, wear your name tag when you run errands  you will be surprised how many people ask you why you have it on and that just leads to more conversation and isn’t that “networking”??

One last thing….I went to a Meet and Greet to network and not feeling 100% I was not meeting everyone but I met someone.  Isn’t one person better than none?  I met Diane* from the Leukemia Association and we talked about the coach training while raising money for the Leukemia Association.  Imagine having a free coach to get your butt in gear along with YOUR clients, friends and family while getting to know people in your network and raising money for a cure.  Those who sweat together stay together!! This was the most amazing thing I have heard of and wow it all sounds great.  Bottom line think outside your box….put 2 and 2 together, people’s needs can be met while you grow your network and because we all hear it over and over we are going to be living longer we might as well live healthier If interested in joining my team to train and raise money email me-together we can make a difference.

Keep it fun, remember to laugh and Ladies meet us at Panera in West Babylon on Monday May 10th 6:30 PM ~ lets share our multiple streams of income and how we can make a difference in the lives of others ~ please RSVP nannyq@optonline.net
