516adsLife is a Sport – Are
You Ready For It?

You’re scheduled to catch a flight.  You’ve had little sleep because you’ve been running around trying to pack, get all your work done, making sure your son that’s traveling with you is on track with all that he has to do, and you didn’t get home until after 12, the night before, because you had an interview on a radio show.  When you get home you realize you forgot to do a load of laundry, so you figure that if you get up early, you can run the laundry, finalize the packing, and have no problem making the flight.  You were also planning to go to a meeting on the way to the airport.

Amazingly, on the morning of your flight, you were able to finish packing, get it all together, and go out to the car, only to find that your battery was dead, so you have to call auto service, and reschedule your flight to be told there’s another one in an hour and a half if you can make it, but you have to be there within 2 hours, otherwise that nice 95 dollar fare that you got becomes 300 bucks.

Car gets a jump, it starts, you rush to the airport, only to find that it’s too late to check bags for that next flight, and it’s doubtful you’d get through security in time, so you are waiting 3 hours for the next one, but thankfully the fare is the same.

You get to your destination, have to get your luggage, get your car, get lost on the way to the hotel, finally get there, check in, and find yourself having dinner at 11PM.

Not a typical day, but that was my day recently.  And honestly, it was stressful, and hectic.  And while this is not the norm in life, we all have days that we are running around, wearing many hats, and have times that stress us out.  I’m glad I’m in shape, and fit enough to handle those times.  Sometimes life is a sport.  So are you fit enough to handle everything life throws at you??
